This is me with my husband, Shane at his Basic Training Graduation at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX. Shane is in the Air National Guard.

I graduated from Minnesota State University in Marshall, Minnesota with a BS Degree in Elementary Education with a Pre-Primary specialty.
Some say teaching is in my blood, as I am the child of two teachers. My mom, Mrs. Brenden, teaches 1st grade at Medary, and my dad taught Agriculture for 30 years, and Building Trades for 5 years. Teaching is my true passion and I enjoy having a job that I look forward to going to each day.
I am married to Shane, who also works here in Brookings. We have two dogs, Mya and Oliver. Shane and I grew up in Brookings and after spending some time away at college, we are so glad to be back!
This is Mya, our black lab. She is five years old and a very playful dog. She loves to swim and go hunting for ducks and pheasants.
This is Oliver, our four year old Yorkshire Terrier. He makes us laugh everyday by his funny personality.
